Do not control others' characters. This is called godmodding, and the only exception to this rule is if the player behind the character you've controlled explicitly agrees to allow the action. That means you must ask and they must say yes. You may assume a character will do something, but cannot state they did.
Do not use knowledge you have of the game world to affect your characters' actions when they could not have access to that knowledge. For example, if you know that character B is a mole in your character's faction, you cannot take action against them unless something IC reveals them. This is commonly referred to as "Metagaming".
Do not play your character as a "god-mode" character. This means that you play character as more powerful than their stats, resisting things they shouldn't or doing more damage than they should.
