Welcome to Swords of Infinity! We're a roleplay community based off of the Tite Kubo's manga series, BLEACH. Swords of Infinity is an Alternate Universe, and while the races and powers are similar/the same, the plots are original and have little to do with BLEACH's canon. We're re-inventing BLEACH, our way.

So let's do it together! What does Swords of Infinity have for you?

The answer is just about whatever you want! Our staff is responsive and accepting, our community is friendly, and you can bring your own characters to participate in our plot and develop relationships both good and bad with other characters. You can also make your character stronger with our flexible Skill Tree system--go from zero to hero, or maybe to villain!

The differences and nuances between canon and the site can be gleaned from reading over a few of the setting details, linked farther down.

Create a thread on this board titled something like: "Custom Kido for {Character}" and complete the template to apply for a Kido.

•How To Create And Add Custom Kido•

Building custom Kido is rather simple, but there are requirements that your character must meet beforehand:

• Level: The character you're developing the Kido for must be at level 20 or higher. You may create one free custom Kido when you reach level 20.
• Development: You must, unless you're cashing in the free Kido you get at level 20, complete a development thread in which your character creates and tests the Kido. This may be solo or done with someone else, but your contribution must be at least three pages or 30 posts of decent length (300+ words).

To use your custom Kido, you must have a free slot to put it in. If you don't have one, you should think about [buying one]. They cost [] Yen each.

Got that? Great. Let's break the template down.

Kido Name -Simple. Look up a few canon Kido to get an idea of how they sound, or ask for help if you don't feel creative. The name does not need to be translated to Japanese.

Exclusive -Who do you want to access your Kido? If you want it to be unique to this character, answer yes. If anyone can use it, answer no. If only a certain group can use it, specify the conditions. Some examples: "Only for students of {character}, Only for Kido Corps., Only for Specialists in Reiatsu/Kido/etc., Only for characters with "Twin Incantation" Skill"

Type -Offensive spell (Hado), Defensive/capturing spell (Bakudo), or Healing spell (Kaido)? Note that Forbidden Kido are not listed. You can't have them. They're forbidden.

Number -The Kido's number vaguely reflects its power, and higher numbered Kido take more skill to cast. If your Kido is over level 50, it will be unavailable to characters under level 16. Over level 70, and it will be unavailable to those under level 26. This limit is imposed regardless of any conditions set in the "Exclusive" section.

Incantation -Hado and Bakudo have incantations that are spoken to activate their power. While the incantation can be foregone by a skilled caster, for the sake of consistency you're required to have one, even if you never use it in an RP.

Description -What does the Kido look like when cast? Is there anything special that the caster does when using it (like drawing a certain symbol or speaking a message to be transmitted)?

Effect -What effect does the Kido have when used? This can be as simple as "Deals damage", but effects can become quite complex.
