Appearance: Black hair with a blue-ish sheen, slicked back messily and flipped up in a ducktail. Sharp, angular face and almond-shaped grey eyes. A tattoo of three stars near her neck. Built thin and athletic, a little bit boxy. Always scowling. Clothes are close-cut and fit more snugly than usual. Captain's haori is torn in places.


Personality: Abrasive and aggressive, seems to be angry at everything at any given time. Very disliked among some other divisions with her fair share of enemies. Has a knack for spotting talent. Cares deeply for members of her division, even though she doesn't show it, and wants to help them achieve their potential. The only love she knows is tough love.


History:
Born to Feng family, grew up learning assassination. Despised it, finding it cowardly, and set off on her own as soon as she reached the academy. Basically disowned herself, and family turned their back on her in shame in response.

Approached Kawajiri Soutaro for training after a class; he gladly accepted and practically adopted her, as he had countless other students searching to hone their skills to their sharpest. She did well and threw herself rigorously into learning the style he had perfected, combining it with her previous training.

Passed her academy exams decently, and wound up working in third division under Jintaro for quite some time, continuing to train and push herself toward bankai. When the previous 5th division captain decided it was time to retire, Jintaro pushed her to enter the running for captain, and the lofty goal brought her into the harmony with her zanpakuto that she needed to unlock its power.

Zanpakuto Spirit/Inner World:

Sealed Description: Jun's sealed zanpakuto takes the form of a nodachi measuring a little over five feet long with a slightly thicker than average blade and a tip made for armor breaking. The sword itself has few distinctive marks, save for a tsuba engraved with a ring of stars. Its most notable feature is the fact that its pommel is somewhat pointed, making it more effective to hit with as it's being drawn out. The scabbard is likewise decorated with one star near the tsuba.

Shikai Description: When released, Jun's blade loses all of its length, taking the form of a pair of rattan sticks with shorter reach. They allow for significantly faster attacking, though.

Zanpakuto Ability:Jun's Kido type zanpakuto allows her to create many types of colorful explosions, shows of light and sound that shock and awe opponents, especially those who know her family's reputation. Her basic bash attack created a small explosion on contact, like taking a hammer to gunpowder. She has no basic ranged attack, relying on shrapnel and spark from her advanced techniques to cover the range she needs.

Fighting Style: Hand-to hand focus; a practiced fighter who's almost unmatched when it comes to martial arts both armed and unarmed. Obviously taught by Soutaro, as she used a mixed style that he pioneered. More clearly structured than Soutaro himself, this makes her well-practiced in form and power but more easily predicted by a trained eye. Immaculate reaction time and perception, able to read an opponent's moves and mount a defense, even if she's not given time to completely dodge. Good attack speed. Poor with Kido casting but has powerful reiatsu. Can take hits with the best, especially physical damage--shrugs off all but the most serious injury without a second thought. Not as agile as most.

Before any fight, she quickly sizes up her opponent. A good sense for reiatsu and a good eye for talent mean she's seldom wrong about a person's abilities. No matter what, though, she never turns down a challenge.

Jun fights to win, but seldom cheats; never shows off and never surrenders unless it's her life at stake (sometimes not even then). Anything less than her best is an insult, and she expects the same from opponents. She'll only admit her opponent's worth if they've truly impressed her.
