~ Human ~
Basic information
Name: Eun-Yi “Toki” Park
Age: 23
Date of Birth: 6/3/1993
Gender: Female
Affiliation: Ourobouros
Rank:
Appearance: Eun has a pretty face that she seldom if ever bothers to put normal people makeup on. The only makeup she ever puts on is small pink “whiskers” drawn in creme pencil that she wears at tournaments. Her eyes are dark brown and round, and almost always seem to be purposefully squinted as if she’s carefully scrutinizing the world around her; they shine with an insightful sort of light. Her hair is an equally dark chestnut brown and reaches halfway down her back, and a short fringe is halfheartedly swept to one side.
Posture is nonexistent for her, and unless she’s trying hard she tends to slouch horribly. She’s short (only about 5’1”), and her build is a little heavy but not notably so. She likes to sit with her knees pulled up or cross legged, even in chairs (especially in chairs). Her arms are usually crossed or on her hip, and her default expression is a cheeky grin.
Eun dresses down always and usually wears print tees and light wash jeans from walmart because then she can spend more money on VIDOE GAMME because thats all she wants to buy, she has more streets merch than you can possibly imagine
Her shoe of choice is comfy sneakers
Personality: DORITO HORFING GREMLIN
History: Eun’s parents were a second generation Korean American mother and a first-generation Korean immigrant who met in their early twenties at a local arcade and immediately hit it off, bonding over a shared love of Double Dragon as they monopolized the cabinet for over an hour and went on to spend both of their allowances in one night trying out new machines. Even though he spoke very little english and she spoke broken Korean, they managed to cobble together something understandable.
After a year and a half of dating the two got married and were living happily, he landed a job maintaining computers at the New York Institute of Technology and she stayed at home. They bought an NES and their “date nights” were game nights full of laughter and the occasional thrown controller. Their families were ecstatic when they announced she was pregnant, but they were even happier.
Fullbring
Hollow Fusion
Extra Weapons:
Fighting Style: Eun thinks about fighting like few people even think to--pokes, bread-and-butters, juggling, frame traps and crossups are the way she plays, and it works. She’s practically a genius on the field, and not only because so few people think on the same wavelength she does. Her reflexes are second to none, and while she hasn’t gotten the whole “physical training” thing down, she’s quick witted and her moveset is diverse enough to give her options no matter the matchup. She catches on fast to an opponents playstyle while still maintaining a level of caution in case they pull out an unexpected ace.
Toki is cool and confident in a fight against a levelheaded person, analyzing and playing mindgames and footsies until she can strike with minimal risks and soundly punishing mistakes when they appear. If it really looks like she can needle or somehow upend her opponent or she’s in real trouble, however, she becomes the saltiest, most foulmouthed gremlin you’ll ever lay eyes on. She gets unreasonably annoying, making use of every swear in the book and then making some up, even devolving into chatspeak that should never come out of a person’s mouth in real life when things are really going pear shaped.
Skill Tree: {Link}
Education: High School Diploma
Skills: C++
Likes: Streets, Cammy White (her waifu), Angela, her twitter followers, NOS, Hotteok, people watching, programming
Dislikes: Salty nerds, uncertainty, drinking and drunk people, drunk driving, hollows, noobs, programming
Eun’s Game: Eun’s pet project is a sidescrolling mobile game with an emphasis on reflex and skill based traversal and combat that employs the unque advantages of a toicuh interface. She wants it to have a bloodborne aesthetic with the animation style of retro pronce of persoia. Right now shes honing the movement and everything is blocks
Toki: Eun’s nickname (the Korean word for “bunny” or “rabbit”, which she often points out, as the word is both a Japanese name and a Japanese word for “when”) comes from her uncle, who declared (in Korean) upon seeing her eat as a child, “You nibble, just like a little rabbit!”. The moniker stuck, and is now well-known as the accepted short form of her handle in the fighting game community, TokiMonster. Even people in real life call her Toki. She loves it. Her twitter handle, @tokimonwhite, is a pun on Pokemon which she chose because @tokimonster was taken.
