Name(s): Malur & Luria
Age:
Date of Birth:
Gender: Male
Class: Gillian (Halted)
Affiliation: Majora Ocaso
Appearance: Malur and Luria are clearly counterparts to one another, and are seldom if ever seen apart. Both are large hollows resembling centipedes, with broad shovel-like heads and working mandibles. They have two large, gawking golden eyes, placed far apart at the tops of their heads. They have bony eyelids that only close when they're underground. Both of their masks have a large crack in them, with Malur's on his left just over one eye and Luria's placed on the bottom right of his face.
Aside from the cracks in their masks, it's very difficult to tell them apart--the differences are nominal. They both have light steel-grey bodies, but Malur's is spackled with a smattering of faint blue and Luria's with a similarly faint green. When Malur speaks his voice is hoarser and throatier, Luria speaks more clearly and with a voice that is higher in pitch.
Personality: Both of Majora's followers are somewhat cowardly and dimwitted, taking her abuse without so much as a chomp in her direction and following her orders to varying degrees of accuracy. Luria is the sharper of the two able to speak coherently
even if the subjects he likes to speak on are about as engaging and mentally demanding as the weather. Malur is only capable of various grunts and the occasional 'Cer, Reya', but Luria can understand him easily and translates if Majora demands it. Neither speak any language known to shinigami or human.
Luria often seems to look after Malur like a little brother, sharing food and acting to protect him when they are threatened, even by their godawful queen. Thus, he is the one who takes the brunt of her abuse.
History: Malur and Luria have been together for as long as they can remember, and are as close as two semi-sentient beings can possibly be. They were somewhat weak, both in will and strength, and so they banded together to protect themselves from harm. Having each other's backs proved useful and they managed to evade much more powerful hollows due to their almost unique ability to burrow far below earth and live almost completely subterranean lives, while anything weaker than them became food that fell into their maws as they snapped out of the sand.
