The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for the Tokyo Prefecture, including Karakura Town. Snow began to fall at about six A.M. this morning. The Weather service has began re-routing flights scheduled for the day and requests that all citizens of the prefecture remain indoors unless absolutely necessary. The Blizzard Warning is predicted to continue into the night, and four inches have already fallen.
Public facilities and government facilities have declared closure for the day. Again, the national weather service implores you to remain in your homes and avoid driving in these conditions; two accidents have been reported on Karakura streets today. This coincides with the long winters occurring worldwide.
In other news, the Karakura Natural Science and History Museum will be sponsoring a series of lectures on the legends and mysteries of Karakura Town. This lecture series, titled "Modern Mysteries: Karakura's Links to the Past", will be hosted by head curators Asano Michiro and Johann Masoner at lecture hall B of Karakura University's Academic Commons East. The first lecture will be on 21 December at two P.M.
